Tina Ziff, CYT

Tina’s yoga classes combine her knowledge of different forms of hatha yoga, including Classical and Vinyasa (flow).  Tina also includes elements of her training in Integrative Yoga Therapy to teach a class that is challenging yet at the same time healing and relaxing for the practitioner. To enhance breath and body awareness guided meditations are included in the structure of the class.  Attention is given to precision and alignment in postures in order to open the body and heighten the student's self-awareness. Students are encouraged to practice at their own rate and modifications are shared with the class so that the student may progress at their own pace, honoring the inner teacher.  Mudra (hand positioning) and pranayama (breathing) techniques are integrated in the practice.  Tina’s influential teachers include Glenn Black (Iyengar Method), Cyndi Lee (Vinyasa flow) and Joseph LePage (Integrative Yoga Therapy).
